The Lewin Peninsula is an approximately 15 km long peninsula in the north of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It belongs to the Busen region and extends from the Olsen Valley to Larsen Point on the west side of the entrance to Cumberland Bay .
It is named after the British flotilla admiral Terence Lewin (1920–1999), chief of the defense staff in the 1982 Falklands War .
