Larymna ( Greek Λάρυμνα ( f. Sg. )) Is a local community in the municipality of Opoundia in the municipality of Lokri . It emerged from the municipality (dimos) of the same name, recognized in 1840 , which was downgraded to a rural municipality (kinotita) in 1912 through the spin-off of numerous villages and was incorporated into Opoundia in 1997, with which it was added to the new municipality of Lokri in 2011. Here it has the status of a local community, to which in addition to the village itself (883 inhabitants) the settlements Lagonisi (Λαγονήσι, 22 Ew.) And Metallia (Μεταλλεία, 373 Ew.) Belong.
