Larz-Kristerz is a Swedish dansband from Älvdalen .

Band history

Larz-Kristerz

Larz-Kristerz was founded in 2001 by five amateur musicians. Over the years they recorded three albums called Stuffparty 1-3, but remained amateur musicians.

In 2008 they took part in the popular Dansbandskampen , an annual dansband competition on Swedish television. They stood out with their extraordinary 70s costumes and wigs and their performances made it through to the finals. Throughout the individual rounds, however, the younger and more modern Scotts were ahead and thus final favorites. Nevertheless, Larz-Kristerz managed to get 53% of the caller's votes in the final and emerge as the winner of the competition.

At the end of January 2009 Larz-Kristerz released her debut single Carina on the Sony label , her own song in the Dansbandskampen finale, which immediately entered the Swedish single charts at number one . The following album, Hem till dig , reached platinum a little later in the first week of sales . Another album called Om du vill was released in autumn 2009 before the start of the Dansbandkampen 2009 and immediately rose to number 1 on the Swedish album charts.
