The Las Palmas Glacier ( Spanish Lóbulo Las Palmas ) is a glacier on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows from the Hurd Dome in a west-northwest direction and flows into Las Palmas Cove , a side bay of the South Bay .
The glacier was named around 1998. It is named after the research ship Las Palmas , which was used between 1988 and 1991 to supply the Spanish Juan Carlos I station on the Hurd peninsula .
