Las Breñas is the capital of the Nueve de Julio department in the Chaco province in northern Argentina . It is located 280 kilometers from the provincial capital Resistencia . In the classification of municipalities in the province of Chaco, it belongs to the 1st category.
history
The place was founded in the late 19th century by immigrants from Yugoslavia, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, France and Ireland.
