Las Cañas is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the south-western part of the Río Negro department in sector 1 . Las Cañas is located on the banks of the Río Uruguay about three kilometers south of the mouth of the Arroyo Fray Bentos in it. To the northeast are Barrio Anglo and the town of Fray Bentos .
Infrastructure
Las Cañas is a popular seaside resort - especially among its Argentinian neighbors - geared towards tourism and has a corresponding range of camping sites.
