Las Gąsienicowy

Las Gąsienicowy is a mountain forest in the lower part of the Dolina Gąsienicowa valley in the Polish High Tatras . The Schronisko PTTK Murowaniec refuge is located on the edge of the forest to the Hala Gąsienicowa mountain pasture . It is a coniferous forest that consists mainly of spruce trees. The forest has the character of a primeval forest with trees up to 500 years old.
