Lasker ~ Koshland Special Achievement Award in Medical Science
The Lasker ~ Koshland Special Achievement Award in Medical Science is a science award that has been awarded by the Lasker Foundation since 1994 .
It honors scientists who have influenced and advanced research, health or medicine in an outstanding way and who have earned the special respect of the biomedical scientific community in their scientific careers. Until 2006, the award was given under the name Albert Lasker Special Achievement Award , since 2008 the name of the award has also honored the former award winner Daniel E. Koshland , who died in 2007.
