Nature conservation guide of the Westphalian Heimatbund

Nature conservation guide of the Westphalian Heimatbund is the name of a series of publications that was published by the "Naturkunde und Naturschutz" department in the Westphalian Heimatbund .

In the 11 to 20 page booklets, which were provided with numerous illustrations, the scenic features of the respective district area were briefly presented. In addition to brief descriptions of the nature and landscape protection areas , the guides also contained lists of the most important natural monuments. The protected animal and plant species identified in the district were also named.

The first edition of the nature conservation guide on the Paderborn district was published in 1960. The series was discontinued in 1972 after only 11 issues.
