Lattanzio Gambara
Lattanzio Gambara (* 1530 in Brescia ; † March 18, 1574 there ) was an Italian painter and draftsman of the Renaissance . Born the son of a tailor, he apprenticed to Giulio Campi , who accepted him in Cremona at the age of 15. From 1549 he worked with his future father-in-law Girolamo Romanino in Brescia. He was mainly active as a church painter and fresco painter. In 1574 he died of a fall from a scaffold.
