Latte hedgehog and the magic water stone is an animated film from 2019.

The film is based on the book of the same name by the Finnish-Swedish author Sebastian Lybeck from 1958. Directed by Regina Welker and Nina Wels . The producers were Lilian Klages, Thomas G. Müller, Mark Mertens for the production companies Dreamin 'Dolphin, Eagle Eye Filmproduktion and Grid Animation. The film premiered at the Schlingel International Film Festival in 2019. The film was distributed in German cinemas on December 25, 2019.

Latte is a hedgehog lady. She loves to tell stories in which she is the fearless heroine. When the forest in which she lives is exposed to a drought, the raven Korp tells an old legend at a gathering, according to which there would be no water because the magical water stone was stolen from the mountain top by the Bear King and he hides it in the northern forest have.
