The Lattepanda is a single board computer that was developed by the Chinese company DFRobot. The goal was a 45 ₤ computer with Windows 10 compatibility. The new Lattepandas Alpha 800 and Alpha 864 are the improved version of their predecessor, they also run Linux and unofficially Android.

Project financing took place via the Kickstarter platform from December 2, 2015 to January 16, 2016. The campaign goal of ₤ 100,000 was exceeded, closing with £ 442,736 from a total of 4,060 supporters.

The new Lattepandas have an energy-saving M3 notebook processor with 2.56 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 3 USB 3.0 ports, 1 Gbit Ethernet port, a USB-C port, a full-size HDMI port and a PCI Express (mini) connection (e.g. for external graphics cards, etc.). The Alpha 864 also has 64 GB of onboard memory with Windows 10 Pro activated as required. The 800 and 864 can be expanded up to 128 GB with a micro SD card.
Power consumption
The mains supply takes place via micro-USB , the power supply not included in the scope of delivery must be able to deliver at least 2 amps .
