Laura Baginski

Laura Baginski (* 1980 in Benediktbeuern ) is a German artist .

life and work

Laura Baginski studied at the Offenbach University of Design from 2002 , where she graduated from Georg Hüter , Wolfgang Luy and Hans Zitko in 2012 . In some of her works, the artist deals very explicitly with the female body and the vulva . Her works have been discussed in a number of texts, including by Jean-Christoph Ammann and Monika Gsell , who is particularly concerned with looking at the Baubo . Her works, which are based on the experience of femininity, can be attributed to spiritual feminism .

Her works are regularly presented in group and solo exhibitions throughout Germany. In 2010 she received the Darmstadt Secession Prize for Young Artists and has been a member of the association ever since.
