Laura Elisabeth Christensen (born January 26, 1984 in Østerbro , Copenhagen ) is a Danish actress .

Life

Laura Christensen is the daughter of the historian Peter Christensen. At the age of nine she made her debut in 1994 in the television series Hospital der Geister, produced and directed by Lars von Trier . Without further acting training, she has since starred in films such as Not Afraid of Flying , The Candidate and Nymphomaniac . Since then she has also received a total of three nominations for the Danish Film Prize Robert . For her performances in Lad de små børn and Dig og mig she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress and for her play in Råzone as Best Actress .

Together with the actresses Neel Rønholt and Julie R. Ølgaard she founded the theater group Nips.In addition to several performances, she has appeared with both in film productions such as Råzone , Om natten , Dig og mig and also in the television series Kommissarin Lund - Das Verbrechen vor the camera .

Christensen has been married to the actor and playwright Thomas Levin since 2007 . The couple have one son.
