Laura Haefeli (born October 15, 1967 ) is a former American summer biathlete .

Haefeli lives in Del Norte and works as a running teacher at a high school and as a beekeeper in her own family business, which has existed since 1907. She is the most successful US summer biathlete nationally. She was in 1994, 1998 and from 2000 to 2003 four times in a row winner of the overall ratings at the US championships . Internationally, she started at the 1998 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie , where she was 18th in the sprint race and 19th in the pursuit. She finished seventh in the relay race with Ann Sorenson , Debbie Schultz and Kristy Lippe . She is also an active mountain runner . As the only American runner to date, she was able to win a medal at the World Mountain Running Trophy .
