Laura Stoeri (born July 30, 1996 ) is a Swiss chess player and holds the FIDE title of FIDE Women's Champion (WFM).
Career
Stoeri won the Swiss women's individual championship in Flims in 2016 . In his youth Stoeri was trained by the chess grandmaster Artur Jussupow , among others .
In 2012 , 2014 and 2016 she took part in the Chess Olympiads with the Swiss women's team . She scored 15.5 points from 26 games.
In the Swiss National League A she played for the Club d'Echecs de Genève and for the Club d'échecs de Neuchâtel . She is a member of the Club d'échecs de Payerne , with which she played in the Swiss Bundesliga in the 2019/20 season. In the French Top 12, the highest French league, she played for the Club de L'Echiquier Chalonnais , in the British Four Nations Chess League for Cheddleton .
Her brother Simon, who is two years her senior, holds the title of FIDE Master (FM).
