Laura del Sol

Laura del Sol (born November 27, 1961 in Barcelona ; born Laura Escofet Arce ) is a Spanish actress and flamenco dancer .

She grew up in Bilbao from the age of one and spent her school days in a Carmelite monastery . She received ballet training from Pablo Escofet and Maria Soledad Arce and from the age of 15 she belonged to her parents' ballet troupe.

In Madrid , she was selected from numerous applicants for the title role in his dance film Carmen at a casting by producer Emiliano Piedra . Through her dance and acting performance, she contributed significantly to the generally recognized success of this production, directed by Carlos Saura . She also played a leading role as "Lucia" in Sauras Liebeszauber (1986).

After that, del Sol played leading roles in international film for years . Since the turn of the millennium, she has mainly appeared in television productions.
