Lauralee Kristen Bell (born December 22, 1968 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress .

Life

Bell was born on December 22, 1968 in Chicago as the third child of soap opera makers William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell . She attended the Latin School there , where she also met her future husband.

She became known as an actress in the soap opera Shadow of Passion , in which she starred in the role of Christine Blair between 1985 and 2006 . In 1999 she won the Soap Opera Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress . In 2007 she played Christine Blair in a series crossover in four episodes of Reich und Schön . In addition, she had other individual supporting roles in other television series and films.

She has been married to Scott Martin since 1997 and is the mother of two children.
