Laura's Star

Laura's star is the title of a book series by Klaus Baumgart . The series is about the seven-year-old Laura who finds an "injured star". She takes him in and has many adventures with him from then on.

The successful book series was initially made into a television series , and a film was released in 2004. In 2005 the film received the German Film Award for the best children's and youth film .

Book series

The first book of the later book series, Lauras Stern , was published in October 1996 by Baumhaus-Verlag. The book series today includes numerous editions and stories, it has been translated into 25 languages ​​and is known in 30 countries.

The 52-part television series based on the book series was produced between 2002 and 2011. The ten-minute episodes were initially shown on ZDF and are regularly repeated on KiKA .

Laura's Star - The musical was performed more than 250 times by the Karma Limited Theater between 2004 and 2008. It was written by Karl-Heinz March in close collaboration with Klaus Baumgart, the music was composed by Andreas Muhlack. The musical is to be performed again in 2016.

With Lauras Stern - Die Show , Meistersinger Konzert designed a new show in collaboration with Klaus Baumgart and Niclas Ramdohr (co-author / libretto; music & lyrics). The premiere took place on February 11, 2012 in the Tempodrom in Berlin. A tour of Germany was then carried out until February 2014.
