Laureles is a town in Uruguay .

geography

Laureles is located in the northern part of Uruguay in the area of ​​the Tacuarembó Department in Sector 5 on the border with the neighboring Rivera department . The area to the west is known as Cuchilla Laureles , the area to the north as Cuchilla de la Venta Quemada . The place itself is on the banks of the Arroyo Laureles , which flows a few kilometers east as a right-hand tributary into the Río Tacuarembó . The closest settlement to Laureles to the south is Paso del Cerro .

Infrastructure
