Lauren Alaina
Lauren Alaina (born November 8, 1994 in Rossville , Georgia ; actually Lauren Alaina Suddeth ) is an American country singer . In the tenth season of the talent show American Idol , she reached second place in 2011.
Career
Lauren Alaina is the daughter of Kristy and JJ Suddeth. Her father works as a process engineer in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is currently attending Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School.
First appearances as a singer had in the region of their home town, in 2009 she won at the amusement park on Lake Winnepesaukah youth talent contest Winni Star . In 2011, she took part in the casting for the tenth season of American Idol in Nashville , in which she came second behind Scotty McCreery .
Her hometown Rossville proclaimed Lauren Alaina Day on May 14, 2011 . Her debut single Like my Mother Does appeared as a download on iTunes shortly after the finale.
