Dustin Lynch (born May 14, 1985 in Tullahoma , Tennessee ) is an American country singer .

Career

Dustin Lynch grew up in Tullahoma, south of Nashville , and moved to the country capital when he was 18. He attended college there and made his first appearance as a musician in the Bluebird Café . Further appearances in the country clubs in the southeast of the city followed. He also published music on the Internet on MySpace, and it was there that Justin Moore's manager became aware of him in 2011 . As a result, he got a songwriting and a record deal within a year.

At the beginning of 2012, Broken Bow Records released his debut single Cowboys and Angels and went straight to number 2 on the US country charts and number 40 on the official single charts . The song sold over a million copies ( platinum award ). A little later, the debut album Dustin Lynch followed , which reached the top position in the country charts and stayed in the charts for over a year. It produced two more country hits.

Dustin Lynch's second album, Where It's At, followed in 2014. The pre-released title track became his second million seller. An album by Lee Brice that was released at the same time prevented him from finishing at number 1 in country albums for the second time, but the album made the top 10 on the official Billboard 200 . With Hell of a Night and Mind Reader , a total of three album songs came into the country top 10 and also into the official charts, and he received two more gold awards for them.

At the end of 2016 he released the song Seein 'Red in anticipation of his next album.
