Kane Brown
Kane Brown (born October 21, 1993 in Georgia ) is an American country singer.
Career
Kane Brown grew up in Tennessee, and it wasn't until high school that he began to take an active interest in music. At first he tended to R&B music, but in eleventh grade he won a talent competition with the country song Gettin 'You Home (The Black Dress Song) by Chris Young . He then published more cover recordings of Brantley Gilbert , Alan Jackson and others on the Internet. There he had his first success in 2014 at the age of 21 with the self-written song Don't Go City on Me .
Next, he released his first EP called Closer , which immediately hit him not only in the top 10 of the country charts , but also at number 40 on the official US album charts . With the song Used to Love You Sober , he then made it into the single charts . He got a gold record for the song . It was also included on the second EP Chapter I , which was released in spring 2016 on RCA Nashville , where he had previously signed a recording deal. The EP even made it into the top 10 of the official charts.
Several smaller country hits followed, including Ain't No Stopping Us Now , which put him on the Hot 100 for the second time and was the first song from his debut album. The album Kane Brown was released in early December and entered the country charts at number 1, and reached number 10 in the official album charts.
