Chris Young (2010)

Chris Young (born June 12, 1985 in Murfreesboro , Tennessee ; real name Christopher Alan Young ) is an American country singer .

Career

Young's grandfather Richard Yates had already appeared in the country music show Louisiana Hayride and Chris Young followed in his footsteps. Even while he was still in school, he also appeared in clubs around Nashville and released albums he had produced himself . He studied at college in Nashville and his hometown Murfreesboro and still completed up to 150 gigs on the side.

In 2006, he finally took part in the talent show Nashville Star and won the competition, which earned him a recording deal. In the same year his self-named debut album was released, which immediately made it to number 3 on the country charts. It was three years before his next album The Man I Want to Be . It was just as successful as its predecessor. It contained the song Gettin 'You Home , with which he had his first number one hit on the country song charts and a Top 40 hit on the official charts.
