Darryl Worley (2006)

Darryl Worley (born October 31, 1964 in Pyburn , Tennessee ) is an American country singer.

Career

Before Worley became a country musician, he graduated in biology and then worked as a teacher, among other things. His appearances as a country musician were limited to the weekends. Eventually he signed a contract with a record company and became a full-time musician.

He finally joined DreamWorks in 1999, and his first single When You Need My Love was released the following year . It immediately became a huge success, as did his debut album Hard Rain Don't Last and three other releases from the album.

When his second album I Miss My Friend was released two years later , its popularity had increased so much that both the album and the title song of the same name conquered number 1 in the respective country charts and was also very successful in the official charts. With album three, which was released less than a year later, he achieved the same feat, Have You Forgotten and the title song of the same name became number one in the respective country charts. The album also peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and sold over half a million copies, for which it went gold .

At the end of 2004 the next album was finished, which had the name of the singer as the title. Although Awful, Beautiful Life got him his third number one song, it was otherwise well behind the previous success. Two more albums followed in the coming years, each of which he changed labels. Although albums and songs continued to make their way into the charts, they no longer achieved top positions.

In 2007, Worley posed naked for American Playgirl magazine.
