Laurence Flanagan

Laurence Flanagan (born March 1933 in Dublin , † April 9, 2001 in Belfast ) was an Irish archaeologist .

He studied at Balliol College of Oxford University and was from 1955 until his retirement in 1988 curator at the Ulster Museum in Belfast.

He was particularly interested in Irish first names and first names and the pre-Celtic history of Ireland.

He was the victim of a robbery in his home.
