Laurent Bernier (born December 22, 1921 , † August 13, 2007 in Québec ) was a Canadian ski jumper .

Career

Bernier won the Quebec City Ski Event on January 12, 1942. Six years later, ski jumping started at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz . After he fell in the individual competition in the second round, he finished 46th and last among the jumpers ranked.

At the summer jumping competition on July 24, 1949 in the Belknap Mountain Recreation Area, he won the jumping from the K90 hill with jumps of 103, 110 and 112 meters in front of Ken Fysh and Bob La Rue .
