Dumais first took part in the Nor-Am Cup in Val Saint-Côme in February 2011 and finished 33rd in the Moguls. In the 2014/15 season he achieved his first podium finishes in this racing series with two third places and at the end of the season he was 11th in the Moguls discipline. He made his World Cup debut in January 2015 in Calgary , which he finished in 24th place in the Mughal competition. In the following season he was with two third places and one second place, eighth in the Moguls discipline classification of the Nor-Am-Cup and achieved in Val Saint-Côme with third place in the Moguls, his first podium in the World Cup. In April 2016 he won the gold medal in the Dual Moguls at the Junior World Championships in Åre . At the 2017 World Championships in Sierra Nevada , he finished 34th in the Moguls and 30th in the Dual Moguls and at the 2019 World Championships in Park City, he finished 24th in the Moguls and 12th in the Dual Moguls. In the 2019/20 season he came in ten World Cup participations, six times in the top ten, including third place in the Moguls in Tazawako and third in the Dual Moguls in Shymbulak and thus reached sixth place in the Moguls World Cup.
