Laurent Ho

Laurent Hô (* 1968 ) is a French hardcore techno musician and DJ . He also appears under pseudonyms such as Audiodrama , Carla Elves , Ho.exe and Ingler .

Life

Laurent Hô studied at the École nationale supérieure de création industrial (ENSCI). During a visit to the Rex Club in Paris , he discovered techno as a new genre of music for himself. From 1991 Hô appeared on the radio station Radio FG as a techno and trance DJ. In the early 1990s he started producing his own pieces of music. From 1994 he turned increasingly to hardcore techno and founded Epiteth Rec. The first French hardcore label. Numerous productions as an ingler followed , with which he became a typical representative of the so-called Frenchcore .

He achieved greater fame in Germany with his appearance at the Mayday "The Raving Society" in 1994. On the associated compilation, he also contributed a track with Ingler Two .

His debut album Syntetic was released in 1998 on the Uncivilized World (UW) label , which he founded in 1997 as a platform for his own publications. From 1999 he published under the pseudonym Audiodrama . In 2000 Hô founded two more labels: ANLX and together with DJ Kraft UWe (Uncivilized World Entertainment). After differences with his partners, he retired from the label work in 2004. After several years without own publications, a new album by Hô was released in 2008 with Back-to-the-roots .

In addition to his music, Hô also works as a designer. Among other things, he designed the cover, logos and the website for his label UWe.
