Laurenz Maria Moser V.

Laurenz Maria Moser is fifth in the Lenz Moser winemaking dynasty and 15th in the direct line of the Moser winemaking family. After working as a manager for the Lenz Moser winery , which was sold to a group of investors in 1986, he set up and managed the European wine-making pioneer Robert Mondavi's branch in 1997 . After the sale of Robert Mondavi Europe to the Constellation Group , Lenz Moser turned back to viticulture in Austria and in 2005 established Laurenz V.

history

Laurenz V. was founded by Lenz Moser V. and his partners Dieter Hübler and Franz Schweiger in 2005. The project started with “Charming Grüner Veltliner”, the premium wine in the portfolio. The aim was and is to make Grüner Veltliner known worldwide, to establish it as a top wine and with it Austria as a producer of high-quality top wines.

Laurenz V. processes grape material from around 85 hectares from the wine-growing regions of Kamptal, Kremstal and Weinviertel (as of 2010). Around 91% of production is exported. So far you can find Grüner Veltliner from Laurenz V. in 45 countries around the world (as of 2013). The export activities extend to China, where in August 2013 the “Chateau Changyu Moser XV”, named after Laurenz Maria Moser V. by a Chinese trading partner, was opened in the autonomous region of Ningxia.
