The Torino Lingotto Railway Station is a mainline and regional train station in the Italian city of Turin and behind Porta Nuova and Porta Susa 's third largest city. It is owned by the FS infrastructure subsidiary RFI and is served by Trenitalia and Arenaways trains.

The train station is located near the Fiat site in Turin and also the Turin Olympic Park on the route between Genoa and Turin .
history
In the 1960s, there was a private stopping point for Fiat employees at the site, which was demolished in 1980 after a train station was planned for the double-lane expansion of the line. In 1984 Lingotto station was opened to traffic.

- The relocation of the main train station from Porta Nuova to Porta Susa will not have any negative effects on Lingotto, except that all trains will now run to Porta Susa and bypass Porta Nuova.
- The Turin Metro plans to continue its route to Lingotto. The tunnel boring machine reached its future terminus in September 2009, with an opening scheduled for the end of 2010.
