Lauro Escorel
Lauro Escorel de Morais Filho (born January 5, 1950 in Washington, DC ) is a Brazilian cameraman .
Life
Lauro Escorel was born the son of the Brazilian diplomat Lauro Escorel de Moraes (1917-2002) in Washington, DC. His brother is the film editor and director Eduardo Escorel . He began his career as a still photographer in film. With further assistance to well-known cameramen and work on commercials, Escorel was able to work early on as the main cameraman for feature films. In addition to some internationally distributed films, it was mainly his work on milkweed , An Arrow in the Sky , Domésticas and Stuart Stupid for which Escorel became known.
