The Lauterbrücke is a road bridge over the Lauter in Frischborn , a district of the central Hessian town of Lauterbach .

The narrow, single-arched bridge made of sandstone blocks and basalt was built in 1767 on behalf of the municipality at the time; the builders on the bridge are the freshborn lay judges and mayors. The builders P. Riatsch and I. Tamm are also named as builders by inscription , the latter is said to have been Swiss and was won over as bridge builders for the region at the instigation of the Riedesel family .

Later, today's post-classical iron railing was added.

The bridge is a listed building for reasons of local, traffic and technical history.
