Ermanno Lavino

Ermanno Lavino (* 1930 ) is a former Italian documentary filmmaker .

Lavino comes from a Piedmontese family and initially devoted himself to ethnological studies; in this context he also wrote the screenplay for Ubaldo Ragona's film Il fiume dei faraoni from 1955 and worked as a director of documentaries . L'isola di smeralda , which also got cinemas , was made in Sri Lanka in 1957. Later Lavino worked at the “Accademia di Malta” on the Mediterranean island.
