Till Reiners (born March 3, 1985 in Duisburg ) is a German comedian . He lives and works in Berlin .

Life

Reiners grew up as the son of a Germanist and a professional politician on the Lower Rhine in Geldern . After graduating from high school, he studied political science in Trier . There he was also a permanent member of the theater ensemble "TheaterUmriss" for some time. With one of the ensemble's founders, Roman Schmitz, he regularly organized the reading 13 short with ...

In 2009 Reiners moved to Berlin , from there completed his political studies in Trier with a master's degree and, with growing success, took part in poetry slams . At the end of 2010 he became the Berlin city champion in the poetry slam with his humorous short stories. In 2010 and 2011 he was a finalist at the German-speaking championships in Bochum and Hamburg . In the following time he did an internship at Deutsche Welle and published comedy articles at Deutschlandfunk Kultur . From autumn 2011 to 2014 he was with his solo program Da, we only have anger on cabaret stages all over Germany . The Auction Mensch program followed in January 2015, and in April 2019 its third full-length program entitled Modesty . Besides Moritz Neumeier , Reiners is also the host of the talk show Talk without a guest on the radio station fritz vom rbb . Together they founded the improv stand-up show Schund und Asche in 2016 , which takes place monthly in the Hamburg Polittbüro . In addition, they also play joint duo shows in selected larger cities. During the COVID-19 pandemic , he and Moritz Neumeier host the comedy show HOMIES , in which they are supported by various artists and comedians via livestream.

Reiners is a regular guest in satirical TV formats such as Die Anstalt or ZDF Heute Show .

Others

In 2017 he founded his own party called Re: set as part of a funk project to show young people how to get politically involved in a targeted manner.

In an interview with the taz , Reiners was asked that, according to his Wikipedia article, he was doing a traineeship at the specialist florist magazine "flourish!" I completed what Reiners himself initially confirmed in the interview and provided more information on this. A few months later, however, he announced in his podcast talk without a guest that he had never completed a traineeship with the magazine, that the information in the Wikipedia article had been arranged by himself and that he had obtained the details of the activity from the taz - and also other interviewees - just made up.
