Moritz Neumeier
Moritz Neumeier (born January 27, 1988 ) is a German stand-up artist , presenter and former poetry slammer .
Life
Neumeier grew up with seven siblings in Schleswig-Holstein. Moritz Neumeier has been taking part in poetry slams in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 2008. He was a slam master and moderator of his own poetry slams, including in Kiel , Lüneburg and Hamburg-Bergedorf, as well as head of poetry slam workshops for the Kiel cultural agency “Assemble Art” and moderator of several events for the organization “Kampf der Künste” in Hamburg . Until May 2015 he formed the cabaret duo Team & Struppi together with Jasper Diedrichsen .
In 2012 his stage program Satire macht frei celebrated its premiere at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. In 2013 it was renamed No Fucking Rainbow . In 2014 Neumeier founded a stand-up event based on the American model in the “Green Jäger” in Hamburg. The stand-up collective “Stand Up Hamburg” emerged from this. The second solo program Stand Up was released in 2016 .
His weekly video blog Auf ein Cigarette with Moritz Neumeier , since its 100th episode and at the request of his wife under the name Auf ein Kaffee with Moritz Neumeier , appears on Mondays and was presented by ZEITonline , among others . In it Moritz Neumeier speaks primarily about social issues such as xenophobia and sexism. In order to prevent election advertising for the AfD from being placed in front of his blog, Neumeier completely refrained from upstream advertising in the course of 2016. The weekly program is now produced by the RBB and presented without advertising within the funk media offering .
He has also been doing the bi-weekly satire podcast Talk without a guest with Till Reiners since 2017, which can be heard on the radio at N-JOY and Fritz from RBB , among others . During the COVID-19 pandemic , he and Till Reiners host the ZDF comedy show HOMIES , in which they are supported by various artists and comedians via livestream.
In 2018 he appeared for the first time in the satirical program Extra 3 and was a guest in Neo Magazin Royale . Neumeier lives with his wife, his two sons and his daughter near Bremen.
