Bielefeld Cabaret Prize

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bielefeld Cabaret Prize was launched in 1998 and has been awarded annually since then. The cabaret prize is aimed exclusively at young up-and-coming artists who have not produced more than one program by the time they take part and should not be older than 30 if possible.

The Bielefelder Cabaret Prize is endowed with a total of 2500 euros as well as an appearance on the cabaret of the Bielefelder Zweischlingen .

The trophy has the shape of a pudding nailed to the wall, which is why the event was named " Bielefelder Pudding ".
