Felix Manuel Lobrecht (born December 24, 1988 in Münster ) is a German stand-up comedian , podcast presenter and author .

Life and education

Lobrecht grew up with two younger siblings with his single father in the Berlin district of Gropiusstadt in the Neukölln district . His mother died in 1993. From 2001 he attended the Hannah-Arendt-Gymnasium in the Neukölln district of Rudow , from which he was expelled in 2003 for abnormal behavior. He switched to the Clay Comprehensive School and graduated from secondary school in 2005. He then worked for some time in a gym and in the plant wholesale business. In 2008 he obtained the advanced technical college entrance qualification at an upper school center in Berlin-Schöneweide and in 2012 finally the general university entrance qualification via a non- student examination in autodidactic preparation. Lobrecht dropped out of both an industrial clerk apprenticeship and a journalism degree. From the 2012/13 winter semester he studied political science and economics at the Philipps University of Marburg ; In 2016 he moved to the University of Potsdam . He has not yet finished his studies.

Artistic career

Lobrecht gained first notoriety through participation in various poetry slams and subsequently as a stand-up comedian from 2015. He had already gained his first stage experience ten years earlier in small breakdance appearances in Berlin. Since 2017 Lobrecht no longer appears as a poetry slammer, but only as a comedian in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On stage, he usually tells absurd everyday stories, which he adorns with deliberately bad puns and long pauses. Mostly a Berlin dialect resonates .

Praise gained a wider public through appearances in television shows such as the Cologne Comedy Night XXL 2016 and the RTL II show Comedy Champions 2016 . His first live tour was titled kenn ick. He will be on the road with the hype program until 2020 and also appear at other comedy events such as B. the 1LIVE auditorium comedy or in the TV show Nuhr from 18 by Dieter Nuhr .

His first book 10 minutes? That's 20 marks! , a collaboration with poetry slammer Malte Rosskopf, was published by Satyr Verlag in October 2015 . Lobrecht's second book Sun and Concrete was published on March 10, 2017 by Ullstein Verlag . In it, he tells stories and anecdotes based on his childhood and growing up in Berlin-Neukölln and Gropiusstadt .

Since September 2017, Lobrecht and Tommi Schmitt have published the weekly podcast Mixed Hack , which has been available exclusively on Spotify since September 2019 . Since June 2019 he has also been running the 1-Live-Comedy-Format What do things do? in which the two answer absurd questions. The episodes are published weekly on YouTube .

From October 2019 to January 2020, 1LIVE published 15 episodes of the How does it work? , in which Lobrecht had ordinary utensils ready, which he had to use to guess a lifehack .
