Ensemble world criticism
The Weltkritik ensemble is a Leipzig cabaret duo. It consists of Bettina Prokert and Maxim Hofmann.
Act
In their programs, Prokert and Hofmann mime the unemployed young academics Silke Sumpf-Pretsch and Thomas Lühmlich, who were compelled by the Pöltnitz employment agency to perform as a cabaret ensemble as part of an AB measure. Against this background, they satirically deal with social and political issues. Musical interludes and improvisations take up a lot of space in their programs.
They are on the move with their programs throughout Germany and are also present on radio and TV. Among other things, they were guests on the show Jürgen von der Lippes Comedy Godfather of Jürgen von der Lippe with their godmother Gabi Decker as a guest. In 2014 they appeared on the MDR show Comedy with Karsten .
