Uta Köbernick (born January 19, 1976 in East Berlin ) is a German actress , cabaret artist and songwriter .

Life

Köbernick grew up in Köpenick (Berlin). At the age of six she took violin lessons, and at eight she became a member of the Rundfunk-Kinderchor Berlin, of which she was a member until she was fourteen. Numerous appearances, radio and sound carrier productions, concert tours ( Sverdlovsk , Tbilisi , Japan, Taiwan) determined this time. At the age of fifteen she began to write her own songs. She broke off her vocal studies at the Liszt University of Music , which she had begun in Weimar in 1995 , after completing her intermediate diploma .

In 1995 and 1997 Uta Köbernick was a prizewinner at the Treffen Junge Musik-Szene Berlin, a competition for young talent at the Berliner Festspiele , and from 1999 to 2002 she was a member of the jury for this competition. One consequence of this was the meeting with Christof Stählin , which was to be formative. Since 1996 she has been a member of his school for poetry and music SAGO .

From 2000 she studied acting at the Zurich Theater School and graduated in 2004 with a diploma. Uta Köbernick was permanently engaged in the Berliner Ensemble in 2005 , but turned down a contract extension and returned to Zurich . There she worked at the Theater an der Winkelwiese and developed her first solo program Sonnenscheinwelt , which she has performed in Germany, Austria, Italy (South Tyrol), Liechtenstein and Switzerland since 2006. Since 2012, she has not been worse with her second solo program : Uta Köbernick sings raven songs on tour. At the beginning of 2014 she went on a duo tour with the Berlin singer-songwriter Dota . Since 2015 she has been playing her program GRUND FÜR LIEBE, political, tender, beautiful . In 2016 she received the radio prize for German-language cabaret, the Salzburger Stier , as Switzerland's winner. Since 2017 she has been performing with Stefan Waghubinger with Why not? together. Her new solo program, I AM NOT DONE YET , started in January 2019 .
