The Lawson Peak is a turn 600 m high and prominent mountain on the Graham Coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 5.5 km southeast of Cape Evensen .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it using aerial photographs from Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1956 to 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1960 after the British ophthalmologist Arnold Lawson (1867–1947), whose work with tinted glass made important contributions to improving snow goggles. Pilot with the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1955-1956).
