The Laxfoss is a waterfall in western Iceland in the municipality Borgarbyggð .

Coming from the north, the Norðurá river plummets 2.5 km south of the Glanni waterfall by 4 meters. Later the river flows into the Hvítá . A former farm with the same name by the waterfall was abandoned in 1981. In the meantime the buildings have been restored and are used as a summer house.
