LeCroy Corporation is a measuring equipment maker based in Chestnut Ridge in New York State . LeCroy specializes in the development and marketing of oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers . Measurement accessories such as probes and differential amplifiers are also sold by LeCroy.

The company was founded in 1964 by Walter LeCroy. At the end of 2006, LeCroy took over Catalyst , which specializes in analysis and emulation systems for data buses . The purchase price was $ 33.5 million.

In 2012, the company was acquired by Teledyne for $ 290 million. The company was renamed from "LeCroy" to "Teledyne LeCroy".
