Le premier jour de bonheur is a quadrille by Johann Strauss Sohn (op. 327). It was performed for the first time on September 3, 1868 in the flower rooms of the Austrian Horticultural Society .

This quadrille was compiled from motifs from the opera Le premier jour de bonheur (A day of happiness) by Daniel-François-Esprit Auber . The premiere took place as part of the German Artists' Congress , which held a festive event on September 3, 1868 in the flower rooms of the Gartenbau Gesellschaft. The work was dedicated to the Austrian Horticultural Society.
