The Pian delle Tectiti ( Italian for Tektite Plain ) is a 2600 m high nunatak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Eisenhower Range it rises 48 km east-southeast of Timber Peak . It presents itself as a granitoid rock ledge with an eroded, 1000 m² summit plateau.
Italian scientists named it in 2008. In 2006, the Nunatak was one of the first places in the Transantarctic Mountains where microtectites were discovered.
