Léa Drucker (born January 23, 1972 in Caen , France ) is a French actress .
Life
Léa Drucker is the daughter of Jacques Drucker, a Washington medical professor, and Martine, an English professor. She is the niece of the journalist and television presenter Michel Drucker and the cousin of the journalist Marie Drucker. Drucker took acting lessons for the first time during her time at the Lycée Molière in Paris . She then studied acting at the École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre and played theater for some time before making her screen debut in Philippe Galland's comedy Aus Liebe zum Geld in 1991 alongside Sami Bouajila and Sophie Aubry . Her greatest success was the film drama After the Judgment of Xavier Legrand , which appeared in 2017 : Drucker won the César for Best Actress in 2019 for her portrayal of the mother of two Miriam, who is separated from her violent husband .
