Leah Coxon (born May 17, 1982 ) is a British biathlete .
Leah Coxon is a sports soldier and starts for the Royal Artillery . She achieved her first national successes at the British Championships in 2006. Coxon won the silver medal in the relay, as well as with the military patrol and team competition. In the following year she repeated the runner-up championships with the relay and the military patrol, in the team competition she won the gold medal together with Caroline Hart , Anna Downs and Kendal Lythe . The only previous international races she contested in 2007 in Biathlon European Cup . First she finished 39th in a sprint and a pursuit in Torsby , relegating her teammate Anna Barker to last place. At the next European Cup station in Obertilliach , Coxon ran to 60th place in the sprint and thus qualified again for the pursuit, in which she did not take part. Nationally she won bronze again in 2008 with the relay.
