Leah Hecker
Leah Hecker (* 1967 ) is a German film producer .
Life
Leah Hecker grew up in Portland , Oregon . From 1987 to 1992 she studied directing at the University of Television and Film Munich . She completed her studies with the short film No Kiss for Kiwi . She then worked as an assistant director and freelance director before she got an editorial position at ProSiebenSat.1 Media through her work as an editor and freelance writer, including as an interviewer at the Shoah Foundation . After a short time she became a producer at Studio Hamburg , before founding her own production studio with Cats & Dogs Film in October 2005 .
