Leatherbee Woods

Leatherbee Woods is an 8  acres (3.2  ha ) large nature reserve in Boston in the state of Massachusetts of the United States , which by the organization The Trustees of Reservations is managed.

Protected area

The area, which has been administered by the Trustees since 2014, is located on the city limits of Brookline and consists largely of a red maple swamp that extends to the immediately adjacent Hancock Woods Reservation and Hoar Wildlife Sanctuary . There are some hiking trails as well as bird watching opportunities .
