Ledenika ( Bulgarian Леденика ) is a cave in Bulgaria . It is located in the northwestern part of the Bulgarian nature park Wratschanski Balkan (western Balkan mountains ), 16 km west of the city of Wraza .
The cave is about 320 meters long and karstified . It is a very cold cave. In winter, icicles form around the entrance area , which is why the cave is called Ledenika (glacier). Several concerts and performances were held in the cave. Ledenika is the most famous and most visited cave in Bulgaria.
In 2010, Ledenika Peak in Antarctica was named after the cave.
